A family from Dusseldorf, Germany, with the aim of making the “absolute grilling” of steaks accessible to everyone, organized a campaign on Kickstarter which was crowned with complete success since in a period of 4 weeks they managed to raise the amount of 330 thousand euros. Thus they proved that the world is thirsty to know the secret to the “perfect steak”. According to Otto Wilde the basic prerequisites are two:

With the Radiant Technology system, the 2 ceramic burners of your grill transmit the heat (820°C) to your steak, resulting in “caramelizing” the outer surface, creating a crispy crust while at the same time the inside remains tender
The ceramic burners are placed in the upper part of your grill so that the fats fall into the special grease collection pan and not into the burners like in conventional bbq.
In this way we completely avoid ignitions
The Otto Grill can reach its maximum temperature (over 820°C) in just 3 minutes
With the electronic ignition function you can light your burners with the simple push of a button. The matches are over!
